People say that you create your own demons. Who could know that they say it with a reason... Ayana moves from California to New York to be a professional photographer. She has never been in a relationship or been in love for that matter. Melody Davidson is a musician. A classical violinist and pianist since the age of three, she was pushed to her extremes by authoritarian, yet musical genius parents. Despite her voice being just as outstanding, she's forced to push down both her singing voice and her actual voice. Because only concertos and Mozart mattered. Despite learning jazz, she definitely felt the blues. Everything else was subpar. No pop, no punk, no rock. Moments in the shower and hums on the bus were the only escape from her uptight reality. Maybe Ethan Thompson, the spunky, bright-eyed guy will bring out her inner musician instead of the stone-cold one. Maybe Melody could learn to live, laugh, and to listen to the melody in her heart. The night Chrissy had watched her father beat her mother to death had been implanted in her head. And everyday, she put on a fake smile to cover up fact that she was breaking on the inside. She used a lot of makeup to cover the physical evidence of her pain and with a smile she covered the emotional evidence. Everyone seemed to believe that Chrissy was fine and she was really wonderful at putting up shows. Until she couldn't take it any more. Until she couldn't take the pain anymore and needed someone to save her. Not from the pain. No, she was already knee deep into it. But from what she could do to herself with the pain. She just needed someone to save her from herself.

Those two sentences she said broke me.Maybe that was the day I learned my lesson in a hard way.I guess it was not her mistake though,it was mine to expect too much.Also how deep words hurt and how silence kills relationships while some fights strengthen them. When I was a child, I used to think the monsters Mom used to tell me in her fairytale stories were scary. But now that I've seen the real world, I've realized humans are much scarier. There's an evil king turning innocent people into demons, villages literally dying from lack of resources, and the only way to solve this is an eighteen year old girl who doesn't even know her real identity yet.
