Pearl has these memories, all neatly organized, tucked away. If she confronts them, she's afraid she'll simply crack under the heartbreak of losing her dearest Rose. NUMBER 2 IN PEARLROSE, 515 IN STEVEN UNIVERSE!

Pearl doesn't want to join the baby shower, because if she did, it would mean saying goodbye to the woman she loved. Rose wants her best friend to be at her baby shower, but then again, she doesn't, because if Pearl were there, she would have to say goodbye to the woman who became like her sister. RosePearl-centric. Can be seen as friendship or post-breakup, reader interpretation. (Ever wonder what the colour of Rose Pearl would look like? Me too!)

So, there's something I have to get off my chest about the recent Steven Universe episodes (5x17-5x24). I'm really... not pleased with the reveal and the way the following episodes handled it. I honestly feel really... "betrayed" sounds overdramatic, so let's go with "let down".

Sometimes you can do things without knowing why. It's just the way subliminal messages work. Even if you never intend to send that message at all. 20 year old Pearl just wanted to have some fun to get her mind off an old 'friend'. She never intended to let her best friend amethyst get her drunk off her ass! Her once solid reputation of being a nerd turned into a fast spreading new reputation of being a Stone Cold Baddie. Thing is she can't even remember anything! All she knows is the schools heart throb 'Lapis Lazuli' won't leave her alone since! College AU, Human AU, Pearlapis, mentions of Rosepearl, Past Lapidot, Amedot, Rupphire, Connieverse. SLOWBURN and eventually some sumt...

In a different universe... The diamonds ruled the four kingdoms. They each had a pearl, and a special gem. In Blue Diamonds case it was Sapphire. Sapphires were so rare now that creatures invaded the lands. In fact, there was only two more. Our Sapphire was treated like a princess, but she craved adventure. So when a common Ruby comes and offers her a place in the crystal gems, she says yes without hesitation. But the adventure is more than she bargained for... *COVER ART IS NOT MINE*

Set around fourteen years in the past, where twenty years after Rose Quartz and Greg Universe found love with each other, are married and soon to-be parents. Pearl has come to accept this, and all though the gems believed she got over her little crush on Rose, she never did. In fact her puppy love of a crush turned into real love. Pearl knows that Rose will no longer be with them soon, as she is giving up her physical form to have her and Greg's son. So, she can't help but tell Rose what she has really been feeling all this time. So she thinks it's best do it now before Rose gives up herself for Steven.
