Once upon a time, there was a forgotten Champion Pokemon trainer, hidden away in a mansion somewhere off of Nimbasa, Unova near where the forest meets the mysterious Entralink. Her name is Joy-Joy, and her life, as well as that of her Pokemon, is relatively peaceful in this seclusion. After all, no one challenges her anymore. The world is perfect - on the surface at least. Until one night, an unknown entity takes hold of a few of her Pokemon. Faced with a confusing onslaught of Possession, the name coined for the mysterious mental takeover, the Pokemon of the Mansion have to solve a cryptic riddle, as well as learn the identity and motivations of the one behind this onslaught. It's a race against time as every nightfall brings more Pokemon under the mysterious spell. But soon, they learn that the real enemies in this conflict of shadows might just be the secrets lurking below the surface of even the most trustworthy friendships. More surprising than what the secrets may be, might just be who keeps them... Obvious Disclaimer: The idea of Pokemon is not mine. Pokemon, as a franchise, is not in any way mine. Most characters used are not taken from the Pokemon games or TV show. Resemblance to any persons living or dead is entirely a coincidence. Etc etc etc, whatever legalness it takes to make sure I don't get in trouble for anything dumb like that. Extra Note: FoS will be undergoing a slow and complete reboot. Once she enters the gym, she meets the gym leader's ace, and the two of them form a strong friendship that not only appears strong on the outside... But may also have the ace Pokémon himself question his own power within... As Drew's Absol waits for the convention for his own reasons, events inside the gym may turn everything completely upside down...

Some people know of the mysterious Ninetales, Absol and Roserade. Do you know their story though. "That's where we come in!" Blythe exclaims. "Sis let the narrator speak!" Zonje says. Gardenia and Roserade reluctantly wandered into Eterna Forest to chase after newly delivered starters from the professors. Gardenia was terrified, but she just had to bring the starters back-even though she is terrified of what lurks in the the forest. She placed her trust in Roserade to get them to the starters and bring them all back out safely in a short period of time. And of course this is the one occasion Roserade messes up: he gets them lost and they wind up meeting her nightmares. One shot entry for Round one of the grass type challenge by Pokémon Contests.
