Jack has visited Jamie like he promises to do every time he can. He leaves to go on his winter spreading duty and has a meeting with the guardians to go to afterwards. As he leaves he is kidnapped and taken by two strange men for un known reasons. They're paid by an unknown source to capture and bring him to a unknown location. When he is missing for 2 days this leaves Jamie and the Guardians worried.

That they're the protectors of all children in the world, and not exactly as how you've probably imagined them. For example, Cupid isn't a baby or a man (in fact, she gets pretty ticked off whenever she overhears someone say she is) but a teenage girl with wings who brings about all the love in the world. She's the one in charge of that warm feeling you get whenever you see your rush and those little sparks you get when you fall in love. She helps you through heartbreak and tries to finally lead you to the one you're meant to be with. And the Leprechaun, well, he's not an ugly little man like you'd believe. He's actually tall and a bit handsome, and he's the one who keeps the balance of Good Luck and Bad Luck. Much like Cupid spreads love with her bow and arrow, he spreads good and bad luck throughout the world with his staff. There are also many forgotten or unknown spirits who guard the world, but we'll get to that later. When Jack Frost is chosen to be a Guardian, our little heroes know things are bad. Can they all pull it together to defeat the Boogeyman? You'll soon see everyone needs a Guardian.
