Struggling with maintaining a human identity, fighting multiple bounty hunters, and keeping their parents' cores alive, the Tarron siblings certainly have all their hands full. The planet Earth has turned out to hold plenty of surprises, from a secret race called trolls hiding out of sight to their human Trollhunter protector and his friends. At this point, Aja is sure nothing could possibly scare or surprise her anymore. But after being attacked by a wolf too large to be real, she begins to wonder if there's more secrets than just wizards and trolls being kept in Arcadia. The Moonrunners are a pack of werewolves secretly keeping watch over Arcadia. The only one who ever knew about them was Merlin, who promised to keep their existence a secret in a pact made with their Alpha hundreds of years ago. Alpha Daniels, the current leader, says that keeping that same secret is the most important duty a Moonrunner has. But when Sierra, the youngest and newest member of the pack, accidentally bites a strange, four-armed girl while defending her from the vicious Alpha Vitali, the leader of a pack of blood-cursed werewolves set on killing anything that gets in their way of dominating the entirety of Arcadia and taking revenge on Alpha Daniels and the Moonrunners, she fears the secret will be revealed. Aja must protect her family. Sierra must protect her pack. Jim is heartbroken when he goes back in time, knowing it was the right thing to do but unable to handle being the only one to remember all that had happened the past three years. But with the help of Douxie and Archie, he mends his broken heart while fixing the mistakes of the past. Basically Jim is super depressed cos no one remembers anything, but Douxie helps him and they both work together to fight the bad guys while dealing with their trauma and sadness. NOT Douxie x Jim, they have a big brother little brother relationship. Kinda inspired by this one fic 'Your Future Hasn't Been Written Yet' by Sakon76 on Fanfiction.net, but only certain parts. You should read that tho it's really good. And Jim stays the Trollhunter, beacause I say so. I absolutely hated the way Rise Of The Titans ended so I decided to write this fanfic depicting how I would have liked it to go instead. I never actually watched ROTT. I just know how it ended and therefore refused to watch it and wrote this instead, so forgive me if I get some things wrong. WARNING THIS STORY CONTAINS SOME Panic Attacks Mild Self Harm Depression PTSD (Not alot of any of it, it's not the story's main focus but it does happen because I am obsessed with angst.) Ships include Jim x Claire, Toby x Darci, Aja x Steve, Strickler x Barbara, basically just all the canon ones. Douxie and Krel are my AroAce babies and you can fight me on that(Except pls don't because I do cry when conflict arises). Enjoy!

During the fight with the Arcane Order something goes differently. The Arcane Order dies but the world still ends. 3 people are left to suffer the pain and trauma of the past...future...present?
