Wren has never trusted a wolf in her whole life. Until after almost dying when being pushed into the river she smells her mate, and when she finds out her native pack that abandoned her is in trouble of being taken over by a tyrant she knows she needs to help. Can she put the fact aside that they abandoned her and then sent someone to kill her? Can she put aside how they treated her, and take her rightful place as Alpha?
----------------------------------------------------
Oak is a mercenary. He has only ever cared for one person in his life, his little sister, and she died. Until he found his mate, and then tried to kill her anyway. He needed the money, but little did he realize he needed her more, so when he is given another chance with her he will not throw it away. She just can't find out that he was the one that pushed her into the stream. Ever!
(This is my book that I thought up independent of other books, so please don't steal my story! While it follows the main rules of the werewolf genre I may be off on a few things either on purpose or because of my newness to this genre. One of my purpose-full inconsistencies is allowing the wolves to talk while in wolf form. It feels more right than the mind link thing or not talking at all. Wolves bark, howl, and whine at each-other all the time along with small facial expressions to hint moods while their language might not be as developed as humans communicate or as shown in this book I do believe it is more complex then we believe. Not English, but not no talking at all. Anyways long story short they can talk in wolf form. "Yay!")
