"I want to be a legend" The words spoken by Shin Soryu, living as a usual teenager. In a world where bloodlines determine your powers, formidable foes are inevitable. Shin, however is one unlucky person to have no bloodline inheritance. Until one unlucky moment, he almost meets his demise. Whatever happens nexts brings him down even further by him getting dragged into a so-called "King of The Blood", where he has to fight enemies to the top where the victor gains a reward; To be crowned as the King of The Blood, and awaken one's bloodline inheritance, if not strengthen it to its potential. Will he reach the top and fulfill his dream of being a legend, or will there be something more to that?

This is the last thing she imagines when she snuck out of her bedroom at this freezing time of the day. At first, all she thought was another patrolling guard who managed to catch her enjoying the flowers in the garden...in the middle of the night. I wrote this in the early nineties as I was walking home from work along US Route One. In reality, route one isn't a New England road as it stretches from Maine to Florida and isn't a part of the New England road system, but I kept the title. At the time I thought this in my head, I thought of the changes I'd seen in the road since first walking it with my father when I was eight. A recent discussion about Route One on social media had me think to post this here.
