Roxy Clark, an apprentice thief who has a knack for little lies and simple tricks to have her way to make guards who catch her occasionally let her go, has been followed by a lovesick half breed named Matthias Rogers. He makes moves on her, in hopes of gaining her affection. They don't work too well.
