Isabella Campbell, is an orphan that the royal family of Genovia took in as their royal stylist when they saw that she was a fashion protégée. Isabella saw Prince Philippe Renaldi as a father figure and was devastated when he passed away. Two months later Queen Clarisse Renaldi takes Isabella on a sudden trip to meet her granddaughter, Amila who lives in San Franciso and inform her that she is the Princess of Genovia.
