An Alternate Universe (AU) where Gilbert never ran into Diana and Anne never ran into Winifred, thus both are unaware of the others feelings. Anne creates a tragic tale of romance based on this chapter of her life to cope with all her emotions. "When one book is finished, open another. It's an adventure that will end in tragedy or happiness, but an adventure nonetheless." This is based on Netflix's and CBC's "Anne with an 'E'," and the book series "Anne of Green Gables" by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

It has been 4 months since Anne and Gilbert moved to college. With Anne attending Queens and Gilbert attending the University of Toronto, they have settled on being pen pals for the time being. Even though they are both so focused on their studies, it doesn't stop them, from taking the time to write to each other. However, in all the chaos and an occupied heart, Anne doesn't seem to notice when certain people try to make their way into her life unnoticed and unwanted. AWAE Season 4

°•°Not Abandoned!°•° •°•Still Ongoing ✨•°• °•°Slower Updates due to school°•° As we all know, there's a low chance of AWAE having a season 4 any time soon, and so I've decided to write this story as my own continuation on not just Gilbert and Anne's relationship, but the storyline of the show as a whole - romance, going through life, bonding between characters (old and new), and of course adventures! I enjoy writing a lot but this my first actual fan fiction, I hope that it does justice to the show as much as I can make it and that any readers enjoy it ❤️ Since the main protagonist is Anne the plot will probably focus on her perspective, but you'll still of course see the storylines and journeys of Gilbert and the other characters. Basically like in the show, revolves around her but you still see scenes and stories from the other characters. Continues straight after Season 3 of Anne with an E Disclaimer: The continuation of this is entirely from my perspective and ideas. While it is loosely inspired from books and other things, do not expect it to be the same.
