After defeating father, Roy Mustang and Edward Elric live together in house in central. Both have given up Alchemy to protect their adopted son who they named Maes. Alphonse Elric lives nearby, and spoils little Maes rotten. Amy, is Maes's godmother and helps Roy and Ed daily Maes is a small 4 year old boy, who does not feel any different to having 2 fathers, he longs to be like his father and learn alchemy, and even calls his father the fullmetal alchemist during school presentations (he cannot pronounce the world fullmetal correctly, hence the name of the title) However, another war breaks out, and Roy is called back into war. But he is no longer sitting at his desk, Roy is forced to put on his gloves for one final time, and leave Maes and Edward alone...The scars that were healed, are torn back open when he must kill those he thought as friends. "Says the guy who wears such a long ass cape, I'm surprised you haven't tripped over it by now, bastard." Roy Mustang and Edward Elric weren't planning on becoming super heroes, but hey. You get used to the whole, whooping ass and saving the day, with you're true identity hidden under a protective mask thing. However, Ed and Roy were pretty sure falling in love wasn't a part of the job. Neither was finding out each other's true identities.

After their previous case with a deadly gang, Ed and Roy just can't catch a break. People begin to go missing again, but they show up again in a tragic state. Their are assigned to the case, and Ed's little brother Alphonse joins them. But why and how are they doing this? And just who are they?

It's been three months since Shou Tucker was taken into custody, and was thrown in jail. Now, our two favorite officers can finally catch a break. Or so they thought. Officers have been acting strangely. And it's up to Roy, Ed, Alphonse, Hughes, Havoc, and Hawkeye to figure out the truth. But a certain scar-faced Ishvalen gets in their way.

An Elricest (EdxAl) story in a modern-alternative-universe, where the Elric brothers discover their feelings for each other under awkward circumstances. Modern!au means that the story of Fullmetal Alchemist doesn't exist here, but the characters and their relationship to each other are somewhat the same, just put into an everyday world like our own. Also the age of some characters may have been altered to fit better into the plot. Disclaimer!! Characters does not belong to me!

From the moment the two laid eyes on eachother, they knew they wouldn't get along. That they found to be correct the more they got to know eachother. You couldn't be in a room with the two boys for more than five minutes without hearing at least one "pipsqeak" or "Colonel Bastard". Riza Hawkeye, the famous lieutenant said her name to fit her title perfectly, and the brother of the notorious Fullmetal Alchemist, decided they couldn't stand the outrageous bickering of Edward and Roy. So of course, they stirred up a plan for the next time Ed takes a step into the Flame Alchemist's office. This follows the storyline of brotherhood, though Mustang only lost eyesight in one eye instead of going completely blind.

Mustang confesses his love for Edward in a bit of a forceful way and gets rejected...fine then if he can't have him then no one will. RoyEd oneshot!

Lately in Central Command, no one has been safe. An alchemist has been running around, targeting other State Alchemist's. Edward Elric, is next on his list. And Roy Mustang knows. He's just to worried for the boy to tell him. So, he covers up the reasons for his actions with lies. But those lies didn't do a good job of protecting Ed.
