[REPOST] A one-shot Ruby x Jaune thingy I wrote a couple of years ago. I tweaked it a bit and reposted under my new username.

This takes place after the fall of Beacon and the Fall Maidens powers being stolen. During their adventure to stop Cinder and her followers, Ruby helps Jaune get over Pyrrha during their adventure with Ren and Nora. During their adventure they get closer and develop feelings for each other.

This is my first RWBY fanfic (surprising, I know right?) so please be nice so I'm sorry if the characters are quite OOC and this is my first time actually trying to right something tragic. "The attack on silent rose. A peaceful town that sat atop a cliff side; that is, until it happens." When something from Ruby's past arises and her state of mind changes drastically, and the 10th anniversary of the fall of Summer rose, will Ruby be able to avenge her mother? Or will the pack that took her mothers life, take her life as well?

The year was 2004 And Jaune Arc is preparing for this season's Football league...as a fan and worker. The 23 year old is working as a club shop worker, since he didn't finished school as he was allegedly caught cheating and was expelled from Beacon Academy. Since he got expelled he was depressed most of the time since he was disowned by his parents and he couldn't contact his friends at Beacon and especially have no place to go... that's until he got a job at a football shop, from the moment he got hired, he is starting to bounce back again in life. But inspite of all of the success he has gaining, he felt something was missing...but that will all change one day because he saw someone who reminded him his days at Beacon, the days he was himself and let alone something more deeper than his love for his football team...
