Dusty was luckily saved by her father but was left behind to defend the village. Dusty and her mum both were on one boat, but the storm was too strong and it pushed Dusty away from the boat and wash ashore, where her entire story begun.

Gray and white scales on its body almost made the dragon vanish into the clouds. The wingtips had several patches of bluish green and black. The wind died down, no longer hiding the low whistle caused by the Whistlewing. One of the riders riding the Zippleback glanced up, easily spotting the wing markings.
