Eighteen year old Hayden "Hiccup" Haddock has had enough of, well everyone. After his accident three years ago, leaving him with only one leg, and his parents leaving home almost full time for their "dream jobs", Hiccup is left alone in the dust, left only with his pet. Everything changes when a new girl, Astrid Hofferson comes to town, and starts attending Hiccup's school. Maybe someone can finally break Hiccup's shell, show him he means something to someone. Maybe someone can break Astrid out of her shell, show her some much needed attention and love. Maybe they can both find it, but from each other? Hm, according to these two, unlikely.

Hiccup went missing six years ago, and was presumed dead. The only person who knew different was Astrid, but letting them believe she was dead was kinder than the alternative. At least then she got a proper warrior's burial. The last thing she expected was for the latest voyage to return with a night fury on its ship, and a woman tied up next to it. Ever since she had left the island, Hiccup had traveled the northern world studying new dragons and discovering new lands. She had become a legend, a supposed Dragon Master. Six years later, she is just out on a flight when she is shot down by none other than her old family; Berk Voyagers.

Fern never felt like she had a choice in her life it always seemed to be dictated by something else but determined to be with the love of her life who has helped her family so much she brakes free of the restraints of her responsibilities and choses love. Supported by her twin sister and, eventually, her brother - in return she encourages them to follow their own dreams and be with the people they love- because isn't that what everyone deserves in life?

A rider wearing a hood rode on a dragon. Following the Dragon Riders from Berk. Her Whistlewing was riding on a gust of wind, her wings straight and true. Gray and white scales on its body almost made the dragon vanish into the clouds. The wingtips had several patches of bluish green and black. The wind died down, no longer hiding the low whistle caused by the Whistlewing. One of the riders riding the Zippleback glanced up, easily spotting the wing markings. The leader, who was none other than Hiccup Haddock, raised his eyes, and his Night Fury locked eyes with both the rider and her Whistlewing. "So much for being subtle." The rider mumbled. Time to find out whether Whistlewing can outfly a Night Fury, Deadly Nadder, Zippleback, Monstrous Nightmare, and a Gronkle. Oh, Thor.

Ruffnut and Tuffnut Thorston and I go waaay back. We're practically cousins. It's just that I'M more mischevious and sneaky than them. My name is Killthorn Therfston, and I'm the Archipelago's Most Wanted Troublemaker. I also happen to be the first viking, EVER, to train the stealthiest dragon in the book of dragons. Now that I've got Mist, things are going uphill for me. That is, until I foolishly reveal myself to the one and only place I have chances of getting caught- Berk. And I just so happen to earn all my achievements at the tender age of twelve. I certainly am NOT going to stop now, just because of a certain half-headed dork-in-love named Gustav Larson. *I don't reeaaally focus on romance, hehe.
