Mateo is a Collage student he doesn't do much and mostly goes unnoticed; He goes to class, plays with his best friend daughter/ his goddaughter, and goes home to his dad and plays video games. Rufus works fulltime at Mateo's collage campus Starbucks and has dreams of being a photographer. These two are compete opposites but are brought together.

This is a "They Both Die At The End" by Adam Silvera fanfiction. It is an extended ending to the original story where the characters get to 'live' happily ever after. I loved this book so much I wanted to give the characters a happy ending. Not my image.

I loved this book, these are my head canons

Rufus and Mateo only had one day to spend with each other on earth. What happens if they do end up dying and Rufus' promised search to find his Last Friend in the afterlife isn't as hard as he thought. Both boys never could have predicted somewhere so perfect to spend there eternity in.
