Yuki has awakened as a vampire and Kaien has suggested to have a third prefect. Kurogane Yorushiki, a new student and prefect full of mysteries that not even Kaien knows about. The only profile known about him is that he is the only and last son of the Kurogane family, a family of vampire hunters that kill and hunt level E's for a living, in other words they assassinate level E's for pleasure.

Maika Akiyama is the new girl at Cross Academy. Joining the Day Class in the middle of the semester is the least of her problems, though. Possessing a rare beauty that makes everyone immediately drawn to her, Maika has become quiet and reserved. Despite this, the headmaster convinces her to join the disciplinary committee, where she catches the eyes of more than a few of the Night Class boys.
