Update: I have chosen to call this book "Prodigal" for the time being. The main character is Henry Woods (think Hansel from Hansel and Gretel, but grown and trained into a Roland Deschain kind of badass huntsman). Despite his unmatched tactical prowess and combat skill, though, Henry often falls prey to his own nostalgia and finds himself in compromising situations that he must fight or talk his way out of. His twin sister, Greta, has been presumed dead since childhood, and he has returned home in search of answers regarding her death, only to find the realm of his birth on the brink of economic collapse and civil war. I have a pretty good start on this and I know how I want the story to end, but the path from A to Z is still a long and fuzzy one, so I welcome any help from the community on where to go next. Enjoy!
