Willow, an Earth Elf, is Rayla's best friend. Rayla is from the Moonshadow Camp so it is had for them to meet up wothout getting caught. When some of the elves are preparing the kill one of the kings from the human kingdom and his heir. Willow gets taken along with Callum, Ezran, and Rayla to return the egg if the Dragon Prince.

Ayla (eye-la) is an 18 year old Moon shadow elf. She never knew her parents. Her mom died giving birth to her and her dad, Orion, was called upon to help protect the dragon Queen, Ayla was just nine months at the time and was left in the care of Runaan. Orion never came back as he intervened Verin when he was about to kill Rayla's parents. Verin grabbed the egg, trapping Orion's sould in a coin and then he fled. But she doesn't go home right away and instead follows the gang to return something the world thought was destroyed.
