Percy has been betrayed, forgotten, and insulted by his friends and family. He has left camp with a vow of vengeance. He finds a rune during his self imposed exile and decides to take it, when he does, however, he realizes he needs to act on his vow and starts to set up a plan to finally exact his revenge. His first step? To change his name so no one will figure out who he is until it is too late Warning: Will contain mature content at a later date.

Rune never thought she'd lose everything in a single breath-the warmth of Newt's touch, their whispered plans for freedom, their dreams of a life beyond the Maze. But the Maze had other plans. In a chilling twist, Rune finds herself ripped from Newt's side and plunged into the Ice Time-a treacherous labyrinth where biting cold pierces more than flesh and every step feels like a betrayal. This Maze is unlike anything Rune has faced before: frost-covered walls shift and trap its prisoners, snowstorms rage without warning, and the bitter cold seems to freeze the will to fight. Haunted by memories of Newt and the life they shared, Rune must find a way to resist the Maze's icy grip. Can Rune escape the frozen prison and find Newt before the Maze consumes them both? Or will the cold claim her heart, her hope, and her humanity?

A great evil, the Cimmerian, have taken the kingdom once again. The first time the Ataraxis, a council of thirteen prophets, was able to make the Cimmerian retreat, but now the Ataraxis has been disbanded with no leader to reform them. Only one person can lead a revolution to return the land to its peace and prosperity, the thirteenth prophet. Twenty years later, a young man named Rune Tempest becomes the heir to the thirteenth prophet. Now he must learn to control his newly found powers to return the kingdom to its former prosperity or risk returning it to days darkened by the Cimmerian. Fire bit at the tips of my black hair. The brown haired runed man glared at me with fear filled eye. He was right to be afraid of me. I was here to steal his soul. "Come on, friend," I coaxed, letting some of my power seep from my own hidden rune. He stopped for a second to gawk at the black mist growing around my back. He mumbled a word under his breath. "Traitor." One second was too long. I charged, my sword bared and swinging. It came up on his side, leaving a large gash below his right arm and bringing him down, screaming a banshees song. I kneeled down, pressing my knee into his spine and pulling his arms tight behind his back. Blood soaked my hand, but I didn't mind, this is what I did. "You...you're a traitor." "Yep," I replied, "but I'm also the one who's gonna live to tomorrow." I took a little vial from my pocket and found the maroon rune on his back. When I plunged the little needle into the "core" of his rune, his body froze. He let out a silent scream of pain. I let go of his hands and began massaging the rune out of his body until there was nothing left but the empty shell of a powerless human. --- A lazy rune hunter who's also runed. A strange man with a secret who's looking to prove himself. A grumpy soldier. Three strange people join together for a single purpose. --- "The god gave us powers and then left us to be slaughtered. This is the fate the runed are born into."

Susie was a mystery to just about everyone in the small town that Kris lived in. After their adventure, though... Would Kris be able to unravel some of the mystery surrounding the purple girl? ~~~~~~~~~~ Heya! I've been bouncing between fandoms for a bit, and the most recent one I've fallen into is Deltarune. I wanted to write a bit about what I think one of my favorite character's background could be. Ralsei is a second favorite, though, and I might write something for him eventually. A reporter named Jonathan Marswell has been looking into a case "The Great Christmas Tree Hunt" that happened at Rune Labs. and reaches out to a former Employee of Rune Labs. This former employee tells him about the hideous things that happened there.
