Say the Maze was the safe place for demigods instead of Camp Half-Blood. Or at least they think it's safe, Greek Monsters reside deep within the Maze in which they are trapped. Not knowing what the hell to do with no survival tactics, he must go off what his dad had left him; a backpack, non-perishable foods, 2 hand guns, pocket knife, and a map with an "X" marked somewhere. The relics of his father leads to the curiosity of his mind. To avenge his late father, he is set on a journey that will change his life; Forever.

Thomas and Minho have finally gotten over the traumatizing acts of horror they have seen. Almost all of it at least, there are some things that you can't just forget. Like killing one of your best friends for example. Before Teresa came to the Glade there was another girl. Emily when she comes out of the box is terrified to be surrounded by the Gladers but as she get's used to them they realize something.
