You are born with its symbol tatooed somewhere on your body. Lowerclass gangs tend to name their children after their tatoo placement, while upper gangs get more traditional. All gangs work under the four bosses: The Diamonds. Jauniette, Azula, and Pinkie. And also the leader of them all: the mysterious Blanca. Also important to note in this au two females/two males can have children. Don't question it, just accept it. Having a relationship (or sex) with a member of another gang is illegal and punishable by death. The Crystal Gems are a rebellion gang started to stop the gang system and bring freedom and equality to all. They are based in the city of Terra and have a vendetta against Pinkie Diamond.
