I need to write a summary for this, but ARGH, i'm so lazy!

20 minutes. I lost 20 minutes of my life trying to find a girl's friend pet frog. 20 minutes I could have used for getting my mom's snacks and getting home. Instead I end up in one of the animes I've watched. "I plan to collect that lost time, you frog."

My love for Nobuhiro Watsuki's famous manga and the adapted anime series 'Rurouni Kenshin' really know no bounds. It is and perhaps will always be amongst my favorite artistic works, so it is rather unsurprising that when I began writing poetry, the thought occurred to me to immortalize the story I so loved in epic form. This poem is my re-telling of the Kyoto revolution arc of the story, when Kenshin Himura earned his title as a Hitokiri Battousai. Any fans of this anime series in any of its incarnations will surely enjoy this read, so please take a look! :)

I noticed that there are not that many FANFICS for rurouni kenshin. So I decided to write one. The gang meets a girl named Shizuka. Her life is a whole mystery and dangerous for some reason. But both Kaoru and Kenshin survived. It only changed them forever.

What happens when Kenshingumi get themselves mixed up with a girl who might possibly be the most wanted fugitive in town? Danger happens. And it seems like there's more to things than what she lets on. A/N: This story was set after the last episode of Rurouni Kenshin's second season (after Kenshin beat Shishio and went back to the Kamiya dojo). Let's pretend that the whole Season 3 and all the rest [OVA / movie] didn't happen (except for the Trust and Betrayal OVA [Tomoe's story]) but Kenshingumi already knew about the whole Tomoe affair. This story mentions lots of Japanese stuff and I also made use of some Japanese words. The words and their meanings/definitions are listed in alphabetical order at the end of each chapter. ^_^ Please pardon any spelling and grammatical errors. I don't have beta readers. Though I try to review things before I post them, there are still a lot that I tend to miss. Feel free to point it out.
