After Jay's Wing left for good, Half Moon is more troubled and lonely than ever. Right before he left Jay's Wing had told her she had to keep the cats in the mountains, that they were now a tribe, and that she would be their leader; Stoneteller! But how will she be able to keep so many cats at one place when half of them want to leave? How can she persuade them to stay at a place where food is scarce and even the wind threatens to kill them? Half Moon tries her best, but without Jay's Wing's help it seems impossible. She must learn to be strong, to be a leader, and most importantly; to trust her heart.

This is a short story I had to do for my CRA (College Readiness Assessment) in 7th grade. I wrote this last year and you know its a good story when the teacher shows it to the other 2 classes!
