You weren't too sure about Ace. You didn't know anything about him other than his name and his expertise in bass guitar, and learning that he had came around from Murdoc's lot made you all the wearier. But he was the only bassist you guys had, and it's best not to judge anything beforehand. So you decided to give the band your oks and tell them that you wanted to give the man a try. Murdoc's unexpected leave brought a new air to the place, I mean, everyone was concerned about the potential permanant leave of the band's one and only Murdoc Niccals. But with nothing to do and a desperate need for a change of pace, 2D went up and got everything back together. In his own little ramshackled way of course. This included starting the work of a new album and hiring a fill in bassist for the time being. Anyways, you've been thinking about this all night! You better go off to bed, your guy's new bassist arrives tomorrow and you haven't had any sleep yet! We still have no idea what's in store, but first impressions are important and it'll be for the best if everyone makes the most out of tomorrow and the coming weeks. I mean, he is our guest after all. Now shoo, off to bed! Sleep will take all your questions and answer them in morning. You can get ready when you wake up :) --- A/N: This is an AceXReader following the events of The Now Now story arc and albumn. This isn't exactly my first XReader but definantly my first published one. For the record, I'm not really good at these to say the least, but I do enjoy writing them!
