A fictional account of the final years of the Romanov family and the final years of the Imperial Russian monarchy before the upheaval of the Russian Revolution, the story of the struggling Romanov family and their close household servants showcases how family ties, loyalty, and hope are too strong to relinquish even in the face of tragedy.

When it comes down to it Oscar wonders: was it all worth it? Disclaimer: This is a project that I did for my World History class that my friend said I should publish. I am still working on fine-tuning it and have yet to edit it very thoroughly. I will also be working on expanding the story more. The assignment was to write a fable about what happened in a revolution of our choice and I chose the Russian Revolution. Holly Lancewood was just your typical American teenage girl, average grades, average looks, average life. There was nothing special about her at all-at least until that day. As one of the most famous princesses in history-Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanova, youngest daughter of the Tsar and the one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th century. Also- Doomed to die with her entire family by the Bolsheviks... Yeah, no thanks.
