In the spring of 1917, Tsar Nicholas II would abdicate in favor of his son, then his brother. But what if he decided to do something unheard of. The Pauline Rules were void. A fictional account of the final years of the Romanov family and the final years of the Imperial Russian monarchy before the upheaval of the Russian Revolution, the story of the struggling Romanov family and their close household servants showcases how family ties, loyalty, and hope are too strong to relinquish even in the face of tragedy.

I'm a history nerd and I need something to post when I don't have a work or art, so I figured I'd do something I love: history. I'll basically just say some facts about events in history, and will include a bibliography if you want to learn more. - Disclaimed: this will contain possibly triggering topics. You can probably deduct what might be in here by both a basic knowledge of history and what's in the title of the chapter. Please be cautious or just don't read if these may trigger you. As one of the most famous princesses in history-Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanova, youngest daughter of the Tsar and the one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th century. Also- Doomed to die with her entire family by the Bolsheviks... Yeah, no thanks.

The Romanov family went to visit Romania in 1910. Alexei and Ileana met, and soon fell in love. Alexei promised to return and marry her. But four years later horror struck Europe, World War I. Throughout the war Alexei and Ileana's love burned strong and pure, but soon they would be torn apart forever. Alexei's father was over thrown and the family was exiled to Siberia, then murdered in Ekaterinburg. Rumors circulated that Alexei and Anastasia had somehow managed to escape. Ileana had faith that her love would return and waited for twenty years until she was finally forced to marry Archduke Anton of Austria. This ended in divorce as did the two following marriages. Princess Ileana eventually realized that she would never be happy without her true love and devoted the rest of her life to the only solace she had, God. She became a nun and founded the first Romanian Orthodox nunnery in America. She died after a long life of suffering. Now she is known as Blessed Mother Alexandra and he is a canonized saint, passion-bearer, and martyr. But what if things had been just the slightest bit different?

(please be mindful this is historic fiction and just a random idea i got) Leaping from a makeshift cot built by the Bolsheviks and running into the dark woods of Yekaterinburg Russia, Maria Romanov, fourth daughter of the last Tsar of Russia finds herself on a train to her country's new capital of Moscow. Scared for her life, her future and what happens if the Bolsheviks find her she takes on the name of Mashka Alexandrovna, a combination of her nickname and her mothers name.

This story follows the life of Oscar Otter, a Russian soldier during WWI as he observes and takes part in many of the events that made Russia what it is today. Oscar watches as the Tiger is dethroned and is replaced by Moon as the animals of Russia try and figure out how to save themselves from their terrible mess. When it comes down to it Oscar wonders: was it all worth it? Disclaimer: This is a project that I did for my World History class that my friend said I should publish. I am still working on fine-tuning it and have yet to edit it very thoroughly. I will also be working on expanding the story more. The assignment was to write a fable about what happened in a revolution of our choice and I chose the Russian Revolution. It was required to be a minimum of 2,000 words and mine ended up being more than 12,000.
