Based on Cry and Friends play Dungeons and Dragons (The truth, the Eye, and the Beholder) this story follows Cry the half-Orc barbarian, Russ the Human Paladin, Cheyenne the human warrior/healer, Jund Scott the elf sorcerer, and Snake the half-elf stealth ranger. The group goes on a long journey to find the legendary night stone, which is said to grant a wish to the first person to find it, but is also being sought after by the dark prince Zak to gain control of the land of Lepstria. Who will find the sought after stone first?

But there's tiny a problem: Cry, Minx and Snake all have a crush on their human friends. Now, what will they do? Will they leave their love behind and head for the safety of Summerland? As a young-adult, Cry is determined to meet his best friend, whom he hasn’t spoken to in 5 years, and finds the perfect opportunity when he’s drafted into the war. Will Pewdie still be alive? And if so, how will Cry find him? Will they be able to recognize each other? What will be made of Cry’s strange feelings? And above all, Could this forsaken love be the key to peace between the nations?
