Ryder bumped into Ruth on his way to school. Their bikes collided a block away from their schools, Ryder was the first person from Clear Water High that Ruth talked to, she didn't expect someone from a poor school to be so giving. He offered his bike to her, so she could get to school on time. After he fixed they became friends. Their friendship blossomed into love before the terrible tragedy hit Ryder's family. His mother needs to leave the country and Ruth is amendment to go with Nia, Ryder's mother. What will she find in a country she knows nothing about?
