The Victoriano's are what most would call 'the perfect family'. Rich. Powerful. Sophisticated. The oblivious would even dare to call them happy. But they are far from happy. From within their massive estate, a powerful, sophisticated, and most certainly rich family does indeed make their home, but happiness is a lacked emotion in all of their lives. Especially for the children, Laura and her younger brother, Ruben. For Laura, life is just as sweet as her personality. She is considered the favorite, much to her disliking.
