In the distant future, two groups of soldiers battle for control of the least desirable piece of real estate in the known universe: a box canyon in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile, certain powers that be set out to recruit the finest minds and combatants to their cause as the rest attempt to make their way in this strange new universe. I do not own the cover used, Star Wars, Halo, Metroid, or any of the other properties that may appear in this story, they all belong to their respective companies. Certain characters that appear are my own but I do not own the Universes they belong to. Credit to Spartan-L058 for letting me use a bit of their headcanon in this and to an old friend of mine for coming up with this idea with me years ago and continuing to be my second opinion and reference on things I don't know much about.
