Icarus light. Following the destruction caused by Grimm overrunning Vale after the catastrophe that was Torchwick's train, a new set of council members have been elected in Vale. This new council has persuaded the other kingdoms to impose harsh segregation laws on the faunus in Remnant due to the chaos caused by the White Fang, causing much unrest within the rebel organisation, and the rest of the faunus population. But something else is amiss. Faunus are going missing, and new Grimm are appearing in unexpected places. Old friendships are pushed to the limit, dark secrets unearthed, and the history of the White Fang and other mysterious figures are revealed. Ozpin advises everyone to leave it to the adults, but when Blake disappears, for team RWBY, there's no holding back. He knows that she's sweet and kind-hearted, but he's confused. Where did she disappear to that night, so many years ago? Where did she go, and why did she come back as a villain? Flint is determined to find out why, even if it costs him his own life. He wants the old Cinder back, the one he met and nearly married. But what he doesn't know is that the sweet girl he married is no more. In her place, a more sinister version has replaced her with killing potential and a signature of death signed on her forehead. Even so, Flint is determined to return her to her old self. After all, even ruthless killers have hearts.
