Even after a thousand sleepless nights, no matter if the book slips from his grasp or meets the wall in frustration, the ending will never change, the lovers will remain dead, and the Sun will always rise. But when Alex storms the palace, Henry is forced to realise that he is not the only one who can't sleep and, more importantly, that Alex doesn't like tragedies very much. This is the story of a prince waiting for the sunrise.

hey!!!! small backstory - henry is the prince of england and at this point is 16. Alex is the presidents son, he's also 16 but turning 17 in a month. Henry attends an elite barding school in the english countryside. Alex has been getting into...you could say...trouble so his mother (the president) decides there is no other choice but to send him away to a mysterious elite boarding school in the english countryside the rest is history ig...🏳️‍🌈

Henry knows this dumb, he knows that this would most likely be a joke and that what he was about to do would be perfect rip apart material by the press. He can't live with himself however, if he can't say goodbye to Alex one last time like he was supposed to.

It's not the fact that Alex has suddenly stormed Kensington to confront him that causes his stomach to lurch. No, it's that when he does, Henry does something that Alex most likely didn't think was possible. Henry's sure that him being a vampire didn't exactly appear on his mother's reelection year bingo card.
