Jade is a 13 year old girl, from Los Angeles. She is obsessed with YouTubers and One Direction. Her dad left her and her mum when she was only a baby, and she hasn't been in contact with him since. After he left her mum got diagnosed with depression and became an alcoholic. So Jade was taken away and now lives in an orphanage, she has had a few foster families but none have stuck. She wants to be loved and find a perfect family. She finds happiness with online friends, and only online does she feel like she can be her true self. Then one day one of her favourite YouTubers Ryan Minaj and his husband Louis Tomlinson announce in a video that they are ready to adopt a child, so may take a break from making youtube videos for a few weeks as they settle down with their new family member. Suddenly Jade's world is turned upside down as she spirals into the unknown with new family and a new life.
