When Will Byers is uprooted from Hawkins and sent to Derry, Maine for reasons of Joyce being offered a job, he tells himself it's temporary-just another town, another attempt at normal after surviving the Upside Down. But Derry is not normal, and neither is Richie Tozier: loud where Will is quiet, reckless where Will is careful, and unsettlingly familiar in ways that twist old feelings into something new. As strange happenings begin to ripple beneath Derry's streets, Will is drawn into the orbit of the Losers Club and into a slow, aching tension with Richie-one built on jealousy, misunderstanding, shared danger, and moments of softness neither of them knows how to name. Between monsters that don't stay buried and a love that grows in stolen glances and unfinished sentences, Will must learn that some adventures don't just test your courage-they change who your heart belongs to. Reminder: English is not my first language. I also tend to forget about the plot so it can get pretty random.

I am still debating whether this will be Byler or Ryler (Richie Tozier x Will Byers). I have been seeing them all over my fyp, so I have decided to return to my og platform to start writing again.

Richie tozier moved to cali with his mother after she came to the conclusion it wasnt safe in Derry anymore. He then meets will, an awkward boy with trauma, and he knows he's found a better place than Derry. #1 in Willie 9/10/22 #3 in ryers 12/29/22

Will Byers has a long list of things that have gone wrong in his life, most notably, ruining his friendship with his best friend whom he may be in love with. When his best friend's cousin comes to visit for a while, Will counts down the days until he ends up on the list as well OR; Richie Tozier is Mike's cousin, (everyone is 18-19), and comes to visit for a few weeks, him and Will hit it off and Mike is NOT happy about but is also an idiot. There, he finds this tall, skinny, good looking guy glaring at him behind those thick framed glasses from across the room. This book mainly focuses on The Byers moving to Derry, Maine (El doesn't move with them) and how Will becomes friends with The Losers Club. The main ship of the book is Ryers, and maybe a bit of Byler and other couples, but I love the idea of Will and Richie together and there is not enough books about them. The book isn't continuous, just saying, it is just Will and Richie's development Through The Years.
