To escape their clutches, Soo-won buys her from them, making her his slave. Fully aware of her combat abilities, he hides her as his bodyguard by posing as an escort. After the fateful events the night King Il was murdered, she made her escape with her brother and the Princess, fleeing to Fuuga and continuing their journey. Yuri is the younger princess of Kouka Kingdom. Yona, her elder sister, has always been loved more than she but Yuri never minded. Because ascending to the throne and asking for hands in marriage just wasn't her thing, Yuri was more adventurous than her sister. Being Yuri, she would leave the castle for about half an hour before going home. Usually, no one noticed, since they were either busy, or worrying about their hair. Her love of singing and reading don't match her personality. She tends to zone out after a few minutes of talking and smiles a little too much for most people. It's also hard to serve the princess because she enjoys doing things on her own, at least when no visitors are around. If visitors arrive, Yuri must put on a face and act formal. However, now the clock is ticking to her 16ᵗʰ birthday, where her cousin, Soo-Won comes. Once eager to see him, now everything is turned upside down when Soo-Won finally reaches his goal, killing their father.

Saiyo was an orphan from the Green Dragon's village. From a young age, she was fairly rebellious. If someone said she shouldn't or couldn't do something, she'd do it just to spite them. What will happen when someone tells her to stay away from the Green Dragon?

It is often portrayed as a bloodthirsty, unforgiving, and merciless being that is no longer human. However, this is far from the truth, never has there been a Kuroryuu who has killed for no reason. Never has there been one who harmed the innocent...even though there have only been 2 since the days of Hiryuu. The previous Kuroryuu was blamed for the death of King Hiryuu as she was the one to be with him in his final moments, she was the one who had spilled blood - only because she was told by King Hiryuu himself to do so. But no one had the will to listen, not to the previous Kuroryuu, not to her successor, and because of this in the writings of history the patient, compassionate, pacifistic, and most importantly INNOCENT Kuroryuu was placed into exile along with her successor. Over the years, the once majestic and peaceful beast has become nothing more than a bedtime story that parents would use to get their children to behave themselves. Those who speak of the mythological warriors of old, tell of the Kuroryuu being cunning, far too ambitious, and cold-blooded. They say that the Kuroryuu should never have existed in the first place. And the sad part? They are right. The Kuroryuu should never have existed.
