Emiko gets picked to be a coach in one of the teams who's gonna compete in the "Grand Basketball Team". Eventually, she accepts the responsibility to prove her parents that she really wants to quit basketball. So she picks Japan as the country she will represent, but there's one catch her parents told her. "You have to pick and find your own teammates" So Emiko searches for her members in Japan. While her childhood friend Satoru Kazehaya comes back to Japan from America hearing the news about "The Grand Basketball Team" While Satoru was in America he meets a basketball player named Taiga Kagami. Kagami tells Satoru that back in Japan theirs a basketball team named "The Generation of Miracles". Kagami tells Satoru that their members are like monsters and that he played against them in his High School years at Serin High. They were one hell of amazing players.
