In a twisted soulmate AU, Ryuji Sakamoto doesn't want to be romantically associated with his soulmate, Ann Takamaki. Instead, he'd rather just be friends with her. While Ann is understanding of this, the rest of the world isn't. At least, until a new transfer student named Akira comes to the school to be with his soulmate Makoto. However, despite the intentions fate may have for them, Akira and Ryuji don't plan on being puppets of a world of control any longer. They plan to live their lives the way they want to, whether it makes them fools or not, they will do as they please.
