Before the merge Lou lived with her parents at the edge of Ninjago city. She was studying in her room as her mother called for Lou to come downstairs. Her father was evacuating the neighbors that came over earlier for a cup of coffee. Lou's mom ushered her inside and closed the door behind herself. Everyone was huddled together. Merge rifts opened everywhere and ripped the house apart. The basement was now open for the storm to take. The harsh winds picked them up one by one as they were separated by the merge.
