It was impossible to tell by appearance that Gavin was an android. Hell, if you were to have a conversation with him one-on-one, you'd still think he was human, and nothing would lead you to believe otherwise. Only when he was beside his husband was one able to find subtle clues that let them know. But things go different when Gavin begins to feel things no robot should be able to understand.

Ryan is the unhappy new kid at a new place in his last year of high school, so he's in a pretty sour mood when he starts his first day at Austin's finest high school. His annoyance quickly turns to confusion and mild fear, however, when the students begin bursting into song and perfect choreography at random moments, music to match them seemingly coming from no where. *Part two, the final part, coming soon!*

Ryan, having only panickedly skipped out on his own wedding a few days previously, is at a restaurant talking to his friend Geoff about how he totally DOESN’T (does) have a fear of commitment. “Fine.” Geoff smirks. “Then I dare you to marry the next person that asks you.” And Ryan is never one to refuse a bet. Meanwhile, Gavin has been having an incredibly hard day. Being a waiter is hard, especially when everyone’s an asshole. So when he accidentally spills a water on Ryan, he’s expecting the worst. When he instead gets only kindness back, he sighs in relief. “Besides, being a waiter is an incredibly hard job.” Ryan says and Gavin laughs breathlessly. “You’re the only one that seems to get that. Seriously, marry me.” He jokes, surprised by the sudden burst of laughter that comes from Ryan’s companion.

Gavin and Ryan are both pilots for the air force and during a routine flight test, Ryan’s radio frizzed out so he missed the call that they could loop around and come back. Twenty minutes later, they finally contact him to frantically ask where he is to which he replies “Um… I’m still in the air.” And he’s so confused as to why they sound worried and since that day, it’s a common joke to ask Ryan if he’s “still in the air”, much to his chagrin.
