I know that there are a lot of SAO fanfics, however I'm trying to take a different approach to the Aincrad arc. I've read some SAO fanfics, and most of them are just retellings of whatever arc they're writing about, but with X character there. Honestly, that's just a bit lazy. I'm not claiming to be an amazing writer, heck, I'm just a beginner, but I feel that fanfics should at least deviate from their source material. In this case, I'm going to try to make a completely different story, using the same setting as the Aincrad arc. I will add my own OC into the story, as well as other characters from the SAO story, even if they're not in Aincrad in the show. However, I will probably change the ages, and their backstories to a certain extent in order for them to fit in the story.
