Former Disney celebrities, Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Holt have recently come out as bi. They also have albums coming out soon. Their publicists, Alexandra, decides to do the obvious thing. Make them a couple. It would provide amazing hype for both of their albums. Olivia and Sabrina, who barely knew each other at the time, reluctantly agree. The more they fake date, the more real it feels. They get close. Soon they forget it's just publicity stunt.

Olivia and Sabrina reconnect with each other and become close again through new projects and work. They begin chatting about past relationships and Sabrina brings up Bradley who Olivia is good friends with. Sabrina then brings up Leo noticing Olivia and Leo's past chemistry. Olivia comes up with the idea of setting the two up together. Sabrina reluctantly agrees but only if Olivia will talk to Bradley for her about the break up.
