This is a story about opening the past and learn a lesson.

Seventeen year old Angie Baker has been through hell and back more times than you could imagine. From growing up in an orphanage, to being treated like a ghost by anyone and everyone around her, Angie only wishes to finally be adopted by people who actually take note of her appearance. After nine years of dreaming of the possibilities of a family, one certain family takes notice of her. Not because of how depressed and alone she looked, not because she has been at the orphanage since she was five, but because of her ability; talent. Ever since Angie was eight, she had started taking self defense and karate classes to help pass the long hours at the familiar Orphanage. With no choice but to join the family, Angie finds out she has been adopted to complete a job; to fight. Angie now has a bigger task than any seventeen year old should. She wanted a normal life. A life where she could be happy. And this, was her only way out.

To be killed was never in his plans, nor was it to let a friend die, but there he was- Kai, the master of fire, a fellow ninja, his borther- dead in his arms. Lloyd was staring at him, blankly, as his voice stopped calling for the dead boy. It was all supposed to be over. Everything. The mind games, the threat's, the riddle's... It was supposed to be a joke. A joke. A dead body of his brother. It didn't make sense. Lloyd couldn't think. Only thing he knew is that all around him are evil- he can't trust anyone. Somebody either killed Kai or led him to his death. Who was it? Lloyd looked over at his teammates who were staring at him. He opens his mouth, letting a tear slide down his cheek, he says: "Was it worth it?"

This is my first story so plz don't judge love jade Chapter 1 I look back and see the large figure getting closer and closer. I try to look around but everybody is frozen in time. I turn around to be face to face with the man. Bam! I wake up to a pool of sweat I've been having that same dream over and over but when I see the man all i see is a blur like if I'm not suppose to know who it is. I look at my clock " Oh Shiz" its 8 I have to be at school in 10 mins i get up and rush to my closet and pick the first thing i see. I dint bother with makeup right know i just had to get to school i was already in probation to get expelled. I dont know why weird thing happen when I'm around like all the lockers opening and closing it only happens when I'm mad or to excited but I'm always get blamed. I don't know how it happens but i always try to control it. I ran out of my house in a hurry. So much for breakfast i finally got out and drove to school i walk up to the front to see....

This poem is also a short story, perhaps even an unsung ballad. I wrote this as a freshman in highschool to illustrate the meaning of sacrifice, to teach people how their actions effect others, how life is full of choices as well as consequences, that we must be held responsible for our actions. There is alot of hidden lessons and meanings that can be interpreted from this depending on how you look at it. I edited it a little bit to try to make it less hectic. There was a journey scene in there but I felt it was a bit unnecessary. The lessons aren't perfectly portrayed but enough so that if you ask why something happened you can see it by the choices made. It is honestly a bit dark but I felt that was needed because honestly who is going to pay attention to rainbows and sunshine?

Finding Dorinda (Said as Door-ring-da, but fast!) is about a girl who looses her mum to a car crash but gains three brother and a father in the process. Dorinda or Do, is an intresting charater, she is skilled in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and is a closert nerd. With a photographic memory she recalls things at will when she finds herself in tricky situations. Although she has 3 big brothers to look after her, trouble brews in the form of Nathanial... her brother's best friend who takes an intrest in the beautiful Dorinda. With her glare of ice and tounge of flames, she soon finds herself even deeper into the mess which is her life. Even at a young age Dorinda didnt like dogs of any sort and that started from the fact when she was six she was attacked by a larfe mutant looking wolf. Although dogs and wolves are completly different she still feels they are the same... trouble lurks around every corner at school, home and in the misterious, forbidden forest behind the house. But what happen's when her brother's secrets spill out when she gets hurt again by the very same animal that haunts her nightmares? Will they tell her the truth or will they lie to her face and tell her she is being crazy? Or will Dorinda find out the secret by herself or will she catch them in the act? And can Dorinda save herself from something made out of love, something born into the world filled with hate and spite can Dorinda, her family, friends and Nate find a cure for what her fate decides? "I love you Neal, but go, before they figure out what we did." I gave her a little nod and put the cloak over my head, hiding my tear-filled eyes.
