This is a bit of a personal one, I thought of the idea for this whilst listening to a song called 'Silence' a few nights ago, hence the title 'Silence'. The song is really dramatic so I thought I could maybe turn it into a piece of writing of some sort. The song is featured in the last episode of Series 2 of the Netflix show 'After Life' near the last scene and it just fits so well with the final scenes of the series. If you've seen After Life, you will know that the show has a key theme of mental health (as well as grief) so I guess I should include a trigger warning because this is going to be deep and emotional and the first chapter is quite graphic.
