A collection of thoughts that wander through the maze that is my mind. Most poems are about longing, memory, emotional persistence, vulnerability and the soft ache of unfinished emotions.

A poetry collection written through self-doubt, love, loss, and the quiet struggles of growing up. This is an entry of my life to remind me and you that it's okay to let your feelings spill onto the page instead of keeping them buried. A safe place for feelings to rest. These poems were written not to be beautiful, but to make every second breathable.

Heyy everyone!! I am...someone It's my first book!! Based on poems, poetries, sometimes quotes. Ones completely random(majorly dark) to help you see yourself, to help you understand how you feel. I had written a long description but it got deleted...yikes!! but here we are, I also write series, novel like... I'll publish them as well if I get support. Until then, delve into the world of messages conveyed through metaphors, between words. Catch the meanings if you can...

No upload schedule, just whenever I get Inspo. I think of this book as a little diary for myself, and I hope that some of the things said in this book don't relate to you.

Everyone is bound to submit to their own passion, but some will do it unconsciously, whereas some others will choose to. Said passion can be so cruel, leading us to unknown roads, steep and long, just to leave in a glimpse when we truly need to be held.

what drew your attention to this book? was it the delicate red rose on the cover? ... or was it its thorns? yes, the rose is daintily alluring, but you will only notice the thorns once you take a closer look. i like to imagine my poetry as this thorned rose, my carefully arranged words as its delicate petals: its beauty seemingly pleasing from afar. however, once you take a closer look, you will gradually see the thorns: a deeper and darker meaning disguised behind enriched metaphors. looking at the rose, you would also notice how it is hand drawn, denoting the fact that my poetry might not be perfect. it is intentionally written with some incorrect grammar (for instance, how almost all words are in lowercase) to give a more raw feel in the sense of how one may write down in a personal diary. the name "the rose comes with thorns" is not only an embodiment of my poetry writing style, but also the meaning behind it. just like how everything beautiful comes with its own flaws... ...the rose shall come with its own thorns. 🥀THE ROSE COMES WITH THORNS a poetry book written by huma zafar. #1 in "poem" out of 206k stories (2/5/24) #18 in "poetry" out of 336k stories (1/6/24)
