I walk through life wearing masks, shaping myself into what others expect, yet deep inside, I feel like a stranger to my own reflection. The conflict between who I am and who they want me to be tears me apart. I search for myself in the silence, afraid that by the time I find who I truly am, I will have already disappeared. I exist, but do I really live? I move through crowds, yet the loneliness never fades. It lingers, like a shadow that never leaves my side. The world is loud, chaotic, overwhelming-yet inside my mind, there's only silence, a silence that screams louder than anything else. No one sees it, no one hears it. Maybe they don't want to. There are truths so painful that people choose to ignore them. We are taught to smile when we feel like breaking, to pretend we are okay because the world is too busy to care. I carry thoughts that no one would understand, words that would only echo in an empty room. Maybe that's why I keep them inside. But what happens when the darkness inside me speaks louder than anything else? When hope feels like a distant memory, and despair is the only thing that feels real? I fight it, but some battles never end. Some wounds never heal. Some things will never change, no matter how much I want them to. Lost within myself, I wander through my own mind, searching for a way out-wondering if there even is one.

My darling, take my hand and let's go on an adventure where nobody will ever find us. _____ My Darling started out as a poetry book full of my random thoughts and feelings but it's evolved into something much more. It's much more positive and forgiving and full of love. This book wasn't intended to end at 52 parts, however, the book was based of of a love I once felt that is no longer there. So sadly the book has come to a natural end.
