It's her favorite place to stay because she can clearly see the sunset from there. Now that she is in Grade 9, she keeps seeing a guy there every day-Theo-who also hangs out on the rooftop. One day, Ashley made the first move and said hello, and that's where everything started. Until one day, on the same rooftop, Theo confessed his feelings to her. They were already in Grade 10, and Ashley said yes. Fast forward to Grade 11, Theo had to go abroad because it was revealed that Ashley's mother was the mistress of Theo's father. Theo's mother separated them and forced Theo to stay away from Ashley. During their first year of college, Theo returned to the Philippines and proposed to Ashley. They became engaged even though Theo's parents didn't approve. They promised each other that they would continue studying. They got married, but it was simple-almost like nothing changed, except that they were wearing rings. On the day of their wedding, Theo was sent home three hours before he was supposed to pick up his parents. On his way, he accidentally ran over Ashley. When Theo woke up, he had amnesia. And Ashley? She donated a large amount of blood to save him because Theo was the one who was badly injured. Theo's parents hid the truth from him. It wasn't until Theo finally graduated that he discovered everything.

The city was a circuit board of cold, flickering neon and bruised purple clouds, a place where the air always tasted like ozone and forgotten conversations. Tadao lived in the high-altitude silence of a cramped apartment, a space overtaken by the skeletal remains of cassette tapes. Their black ribbons unspooled across the floor like tangled veins, snagging on the corners of old wooden chairs. He sat in the center of the mess, his fingers stained dark with magnetic oxide-the dust of a thousand recorded moments. To the people in the streets below, Tadao was a ghost story they told to feel better about their own moving on. They watched him from the sidewalk with those hollow, "I don't care stares," whispering about the boy who stayed behind to guard a frequency that had gone dead a year ago. They called him a hero because he was the only one who refused to let the silence win. But Tadao knew that being a hero was just another way of saying he was a curator of a graveyard, tending to a treasure that was rotting in his hands.

This is a short screenplay I wrote a few years ago for my theatre class, thought it'd be fun or at least humoring to upload it. Don't take it too seriously, writing might not be perfect.
