Safiya Banks looks towards the future. Her life is almost perfect. A top marks student, popular, parents and her whole life to look forward to. But after losing her brother, her whole world has shifted and she isn't sure what to do anymore. She isn't the same person as she used to be. Sinking down into oblivion. That all changes when Lucas Dawe comes to school, weeks into senior year. Protected by old family money Lucas Dawe is someone who pushes the boundaries, just to see the mighty fall. Painfully good-looking and has charm that can pull any girl and he knows it. He doesn't know what to think of Safiya Banks. She reminds him of something, but isn't sure what. Nathan later in the headquarters attacks her and she reveals that somehow she's been turned into a vampire by a familiar enemy of Nate's, Strahd the vampire lord. Working together with each other they find out Strahd's taken charge in Preston's home realm and the wizard reluctantly agrees to make the journey home to stop him. The others follow but Anika has joined the side of evil so the team must rely on Darcy and Diablo for help to take her place temporarily. Fight for freedom, fight for an ally, this will be one of the toughest yet.
