The four goddesses granted everyone with animal forms unique to their souls. A boy without an animal form will follow his destiny and discover who he is.With the help of 6 sages and their descendants he will save Hyrule, time, and the Princess of Hyrule from the man that wants to destroy Hyrule with a chaotic creature that causes destruction. The boy will have to prove himself worthy of being a hero, travel through time, go through alternate dimensions, and help the future generations live in peace. The fate of Hyrule rests in his hands.

Well, I am returning to present a novel of Ocarina of Time, and if everything goes well with my time in writing on the side with my original High Fantasy Fiction, I hope to write a novel for Majora's Mask novel as well as I tie Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask with my other piece, "A Shade of Time" My intention is to combine these to form a Hero of Time trilogy. As my headcanon attempts to reconcile the canon in all of the gaps and room for imagination in the game's presentation of the overall storylline, I incorporate my headcanon and also desire to present the story in raw reading material for it to be friendly for readers who are unfamiliar with the fandom. So, I have taken a rather untraditional approach to the story. I hope you find it different and intersting, and that you enjoy it. So, now I present to you: (See Chapter I)

After Link's quest in Twilight Princess, he could no longer relate to those he sacrificed his sanity for. After the things he has seen, he knows there's only two people he can relate to; one he has an odd relationship with, and one who lies in an unreachable dimension. His desperation unveils a whole new quest he created for himself. {Make sure you have completed the game Twilight Princess before reading, this story contains spoilers.}

It is not my purpose, at this time, to write a novelization of the events of the Hero of Time's era in regards to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask as I desire to press on from familiar grounds to less familiar grounds as opened to the imagination of all. This text captures simply my take on the life of the Hero of Time and the events pertaining to his life and fate. I intend to capture the events of the return of the Hero to Hyrule after his maddening adventure in Termina, Ganondorf's invasion of Hyrule, and the fall of the hero in becoming the 'shade'. For conciseness of the tale, in text, I reference my other post, 'Chronicles of a Legend' for suggested reading. However, you may not want to read too much as it contains spoilers, but it's up to you. This novelization also covers the events of the Hero's Shade which ties with the events of the Legend of Zelda's 'Twilight Princess' In regards to the War of Twilight, the text shall cover only that which pertains to the Hero of Time.

One year ago, Link defeated Ganon, freeing Zelda and saving Hyrule. After not having seen Link in many months, they are finally reunited at Zelda's coronation on her 18th birthday. The circumstances of their meeting, however, are not what either of them imagined. This story takes places between the end of the botw story line and the beginning of the totk story line, and tells the story of what happened in that time. P.S. this is a zelink story, but there will only be fluff here, sorry :) Disclaimer: the characters in this story are not mine, they belong to Nintendo, and the cover art is not mine either.
