My Wife is My Kryptonite I've survived Everest's death zone, crossed the Sahara on foot, and stared down a bear in the Amazon. But nothing - nothing - prepared me for marriage. From forgotten anniversaries that feel like avalanches, to the arctic silence of the "cold shoulder," and the terrifying mystery of the kitchen drawer that swallows chargers whole - my wife has turned our home into the ultimate survival challenge. This is not a love story. This is a field report from the front lines of marriage. Equal parts hilarious, brutally honest, and surprisingly tender, these stories follow a battle-hardened adventurer as he discovers that the most dangerous and beautiful terrain he's ever faced is the woman he married. Because sometimes the person who can destroy you with one softly spoken "Fine" is also the only one worth staying for. 📖 READING STATUS: If you've ever loved someone who drives you crazy... If you've ever laughed through the chaos of marriage... This one's for you. Welcome to the longest, most absurd, and most worth-it expedition of my life.

You don’t have to go over to the paranormal world to find adventure and dark romance. Even in the real world, leaving the safety of your home and support of family and friends can put you at risk. And in unfamiliar territory, just falling in love with the wrong person can be fatal. The story: It started out as a summer vacation to Europe. It ended up a matter of life and death. Ellie had planned it all and talked her best friend Sarah into coming with her to London. Ellie’s brother Joe lived there, so they could stay with him to start with, before heading off to France and Italy and beyond. It would be fun. Sarah hadn’t wanted to go at first – she was happy and busy in New York. In fact, a last minute emergency gave her excuse not to even get on the plane. Much later, when she woke up drugged and dazed, alone in a darkened room, she thought how strange it was that in the beginning she almost didn’t go, yet in the end, it seemed she was never going to leave. If her friends hadn’t put themselves at risk to get her back, there would have been a very different ending. This was the real love story. The people: Ellie, a college student in New York, brought all the characters together: her beautiful, best friend Sarah, her brother Joe and Tom, his English flat mate in London. Ellie knew that everyone would fall in love with Sarah. But it was only when Sarah met Henri and she is dazzled by the wealth and glamour of the French aristocracy, that everything changed.

They used to be the Three Musketeers: Damian, Addison, and Sarah Sahara. "All for one and one for all". Rarely seen apart, they were all practically joined at the hip. But when Addison left, the friendship that the remaining two used to share seemed to shatter. Now they rarely speak to each other, and every time they do, the subject swerves to the topic of their missing third. Their discussion always end in arguments, leading both to wonder if it's even worth trying to stick together anymore. Fast-forward five years and their relationship is hanging on by a thread. Damian's bitterness and immaturity continues to clash with Sahara's straightforwardness and pragmatism. At least, that's what happened the last time they hung out... several months ago. Now they're trying to mend the bridge they've burned, but they can't shake the feeling that if they can't work it out this time around, they never will...
