Kokichi Ouma was in control of it all. Finally, at the front of his favorite TV show, watching his fellow classmates kill each other for the world's enjoyment. It should've been perfect. However, a blow to the head ruined it all. His time as the mastermind may be in danger.

A year or so after the game has ended, Shuichi finds himself at a standstill. He is forced from his home, and he had no idea where to go. He assumed life would be better once they escaped the simulation. However, due to a series of circumstances, he comes face to face with the enigma that he hated so much. Even worse, he had to ask him for help. A slice of life story as Shuichi and Kokichi's relationship grows, and we end up learning a lot more about Kokichi's past and experiences.
