My “Nighttide Fables” are tales and short stories written by me. Based on random photos I find interesting and intriguing that can conjure up hidden stories in my head.

This is a story of adventure written by my cousin David Anthony (Tony) Beatty shortly before his death in the early nineties. I think it is a fitting tribute to have others read of his sailing trip of a lifetime as he headed out for the south seas by himself from Vancouver B.C. Please enjoy!
