A wholesome story where Shuichi deals with social anxiety and Kaito is the first person to care for him. All fluff and angst. Also, an AU where Hopes Peak is a typical established high school, with a lot more students :) Saimota is an extremely underappreciated ship, therefore I shall make my own content for the fellow Saimota shippers! ☆ This is my first fanfic, so I hope you all enjoy!

It isn't often seeing people, or children for the matter, getting lost in vast forests. It isn't often for them to stay there for a whole decade, if not even for just a year. It isn't often those who do stay for so long make it out alive. But for Gonta, these scenarios are exactly what happened, and no matter how much time passes from then, the repercussions don't get easier. But at least now, he won't go through it alone.
